Josh Lester head shot & Erickson Electric Service building

CS Erickson announced today that Josh Lester will lead the newly formed company as president. The new electrical company is the result of a merger between C&S Electric Service and Erickson Electric Service, Inc., both of Grand Haven, MI. CS Erickson is a subsidiary of Custer Inc. in Grand Rapids.

“We are more than thrilled to have Josh on board to help us with our continued growth in West Michigan’s electrical services market,” said Mark Custer, Custer Vice President of Business Relations. “Josh brings years of business development experience and deep relationships that will amplify the growth and success of CS Erickson.”

In July, C&S Electric Service acquired Erickson Electric Service, Inc., a Grand Haven-based electrical contractor servicing industrial, commercial, telecommunications, and residential customers in greater West Michigan. Both electric companies now operate as one company under the name CS Erickson.

Lester has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Calvin College and 23 years of industry experience. Over the past 12 years Lester led business development at Feyen Zylstra, a commercial, institutional, and industrial communications and electrical contractor. During this time, Lester worked his way up to top management while helping to grow the business from $25 million to $100 million in sales.

“CS Erickson believes in providing outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with our customers,” said Lester. “The combined skillsets of each company position us well and I am excited for the opportunity to develop CS Erickson into an industry leader in West Michigan.”
